🎪 That's a Wrap on the Circus!
What a fun weekend! Ridgway Area PTO welcomed Billy Martin Presents Cole All-Star Circus back to Ridgway for the second year in a row on Saturday, October 24!
A huge thank you to everyone who attended, purchased tickets, volunteered, and helped make the event possible. We love being able to bring this longtime community favorite back to Ridgway while raising funds to support our schools!
And here's something exciting: We're already discussing a possible return in February with an all-new lineup of performers! Stay tuned!
📅 Next PTO Meeting: November 4
Our next PTO meeting will be held virtually on Wednesday, November 4, at 7:00 PM.
Everyone is welcome to join! The meeting link will be shared on BAND ahead of time.
🏈 Coming Soon: 4th Grade Thanksgiving Football Squares!
Our next Class Fund fundraiser is Thanksgiving Football Squares, supporting our 4th Grade Class Fund!
More information will be coming home soon, so keep an eye out for details on how to participate and support our fourth graders!
🎅 Santa's Workshop: December 16 & 17!
One of our absolute favorite PTO traditions is right around the corner!
Santa's Workshop will take place Wednesday, December 16, and Thursday, December 17!
Each year, we transform the school library into a magical little shopping experience where students can pick out special gifts for their loved ones. It's such a fun event, and seeing how excited the kids get makes all the preparation worth it!
And we need LOTS of helping hands to make the magic happen!
We typically begin moving everything into the school on Friday, December 11, after school, and spend the following week setting up, organizing, preparing gifts, and getting everything ready for our young shoppers.
If you can spare an hour during the school day, we'd love your help! And if you work remotely, consider working from "school" instead of home for a day! We'll have PTO members there throughout school hours, so you can bring your laptop, get some work done, and jump in to help whenever you have a little time.
Whether you can wrap gifts for an hour or spend the whole day helping, we can never have too many hands!
Important: All volunteers must have their required clearances on file and approved by the school before participating.
Santa's Workshop is truly one of the most fun events we do all year, and we can't wait to create a little holiday magic for our students again!
☕ Thankful Thursday: A Little Coffee, A Lot of Appreciation!
Our teachers and staff do so much for our students, and we love finding little ways to remind them how appreciated they are!
Throughout the school year, Ridgway Area PTO partners with Creative Cup to deliver coffee treats to our schools for Thankful Thursday. We rotate between FSG and the Middle/High School so everyone gets a little pick-me-up!
Upcoming Thankful Thursday Dates:
November 19: Middle/High School
December 17: FSG
January 21: Middle/High School
February 18: FSG
March 18: Middle/High School
April 15: FSG
May 6: Middle/High School
A little coffee is just one way of saying a BIG thank you for everything you do!
Thank you for continuing to support Ridgway Area PTO and all the wonderful experiences we bring to our schools!
